  Riding fast in the plains of this world
  Following the starlight
  All alone, chosen by the lords
  Travelling in the night
  “Suddenly, the light rays
  Show me a dark forest
  This is the way to the sunken lands
  Lead me to the chasm”
  In this forest evil is crawling
  The lair of monstrosities
  Raise your sword and fight for glory
  This is only the beginning
  
  “Spiders and Snakes won’t stop me”
  
  “I'm running through the dark forest
  The path for Erocis
  Smashing down the monsters
  No time to wander
  And with my sword
  Raising high the blade for the gods
  I swear I'll find my way

  Goblins and trolls around the hag’s house
  Dodging spears and spells
  Keep moving forward
  Torch in hand, running to the hut
  Casting the sword to the heads of the demons
  Dark blood is spilled and fed the putrid earth
  The flames purify this den of evil
  
  Across the woods, at the morning dawn
  In the middle of nowhere, here is the passage

  Smashing down the monsters

  Darker than dying twilight
  Depraved path without light
  Into the bowels of earth
  Lit by a simple torch
  Armed with a rusty sword
  Under the will of the lords
  Descent to an ancient world
  I hear vicious grunt
  Unknown creatures come out of the cold walls
  The guardians of this old place are awake
  Into the darkness
  
  Passage to the sunken lands

  Horwynn was faced with the last warden

  Blade in hand to assault the keeper
  Taking mass strokes, responding with precise sword hits
  The armor of the guard doesn’t resist
  The path to this sacred lands is now open

  Under the earth, lies an unsuspected world
  Frozen in time, contemplating the underwater mountains
  The fairies light this abyssal world
  
  Flying manta rays between stalactites

  Where flying jellyfish are living”
  Horwynn the herald of the prophecy
  Find your way helped by the fairies
  Through the mystical flora
  Wild place of an ancient era
  “Fate is in my hands

  In this submarine world where magic reigns
  Floating sea dragons feeding on giant trees
  Beyond the cave
  Beyond cold and darkness
  Behold the land of the elder gods
  
  Wrecked ships, fragments of memories
  Ancient wanderers condemned in this hidden world

  Dazzled by the beauty of this land
  Horwynn wanders to dangerous ground
  A dark arena with a thousand snakes, the breath of a giant reptile
  Trapped in the lair of a monster
  The warrior tries to leave this place
  Waking the snake on his throne
  Rising from a boat wreck
  Shaking the earth
  “I am Areus, the king of snakes, you fool, may your flesh feed my children”
  “I am Horwynn, the one chosen by the gods
  Now let me through, or your children won’t survive”
  
  Hateful eyes
  Monstrous jaw
  The beast is awoken
  Steel scales
  Forked tongue
  The reptile is proud of its throne
  Blinded by pride
  Areus, king of snakes
  
  Horwynn pierce the eye of Areus
  Who tried to attack with his venin
  The snake flees to the lake, followed by the knight
  
  Hateful eyes
  Monstrous jaw
  The beast is awoken
  Steel scales
  Forked tongue
  The reptile is proud of its throne
  Blinded by pride
  Areus, king of snakes
  
  “It is an honor to die by the blade of such a powerful warrior, but I cannot tarnish my reputation, I cannot let you go. We’re gonna die together !”
  
  In his last breath, Areus catch Horwynn at the leg
  And dive into the deep waters of the lake
  His green eye slowly fading away
  Sacrificing for pride

  In the deep dark waters of the lake
  Drawn by the dead enormous snake
  The huge fangs piercing the flesh of Horwynn
  Leading the warrior to eternal sleep
  
  "I drown under the lake
  Forever gone, destined to forsake
  I will die under lake
  My grave will be these sunken lands"
  
  Trying to free himself from Areus
  Trying to rise to the surface of these waters
  
  Blood flowing from his leg
  Attracts the creatures from the depths
  Unsightly sea monsters
  Beasts hungry for flesh
  
  Horwynn, weapon in hand, attacked from all sides
  Holding his breath
  
  "To die by these creatures is not my fate
  The gods have planned another end"
  
  "I drown under the lake
  Forever gone, destined to forsake
  I will die under lake
  My grave will be these sunken lands"
  
  Slowly losing his consciousness
  His sight blinded by darkness
  In a desperate attempt, he releases his leg from the king snake’s mouth
  
  Burning heart
  
  Rising from below
  Fighting for his life
  Slaying monsters down
  Reaching the surface
  Reaching the surface
  
  Out of the water
  Catching his breath
  At the lake shore
  Barely alive
  He'll find his way
  Guide by his faith
  "I will survive the sunken lands"

  After surviving the creatures of the waters, calm reigns in the sunken lands
  A soothing light caresses Horwynn’s face, tired of travel
  Arriving in front of an altar standing on a pedestal and a portal blocking a luminous cave
  Horwynn begins to hear voices
  
  "We are the forgotten gods who created these lands to protect the mighty sword we forged
  You’ve come this far, you’re a great warrior
  But now you have to make the hardest choice
  To be the blade bearer, you must only remember your divine quest
  To be the blade bearer, you must never look back and offer us your memory"
  
  "I will forget everything
  My wife, my children
  For the glory of Aetanria
  I have to make this sacrifice
  To deserve the sword
  I have to give my memory as a gift for the gods
  And I know what it means
  I'll never see again my home"
  
  The lamentations of the warrior are not heard from the ancient gods
  This is the final penance
  
  “Why was I chosen?
  The pain is to much
  I'll never see again my home
  I didn’t come this far to give up…”
  
  “What’s your choice, brave Horwynn?”
  “I am ready, please take my mind as a present”
  
  "I do not know who am I
  Only remember that for the glory of Aetanria
  I have to defeat Ingoth
